There's
nothing like the first signs of Summer. It is truly the wonder of nature unfolding each and every day. At the the foundation
of the house the flowers are coming up a sure sign of summer. This ol' gardener is up and thinking about Summer now. The
days are getting longer,and the nights are getting warmer. It's time to get up and out early in the morning. Time to get
out in the yard,and start picking the peas lettice,and spinach. The garden is all planted now. Soon we will be picking tomatoes,summer
squash,broccoli,beets,and in Auguest the corn.
There's nothing like the summer time sun to get this ol'
gardener up and working. The days are getting warmer,and its time to to start picking those Irish potatoes or any other kind. . It won't be long now 'til we're all ticklin' our toes in lush, green grass,and picking fresh vegetables.
As the weather continues to warm up, there's work to be done! So spend a bit of time with that compost pile. Yes you will
need that compost all summer long. So spring into action,and lets all get that thumb green again.
It's Summer,now
in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Its the beginning of Julyand we have received 148 inches of snow,for the winter. We
who live in New Hampshire call snow WHITE GOLD. The Snow or White Gold brings lots of money to the state of New Hampshire.

Now is the time to see the all the animals running about the woods looking for food. You can
see the deer prints, and droppings on the trial. The early morning brings the sound of the turkeys in the distance or you
may see a fox or two. Just before dark or in the early morning you can see turkey's marching in a row in search of food.
If,you look real close you see the squirrels stealing bird seeds from the bird feeders. Again listen closely and you will
hear the turkey's in the early morning hours telling us that Spring is here. When you look all around you will see all
the animals hunting for food now that Spring is here in New hampshire.
All of this and more is the beauty
of New Hampshire in the Summer.

Lakes Region of New Hampshire
We live at beautiful
Lake Winnipesaukee,and are surrounded by mountains. This is vacation land in the summer and winter. In Spring you can
smell the the maple sap running from the trees,and smell the spring Flowers blooming. In Summer we have Weirs beach,the Water
Slide, and Fun sport. We also have one of the oldest Drive-In's in the nation. In Smmer there is Hiking,swimming,boating,gifts
shops,good food,FREE concerts,Fireworks(every Sunday Night)and many other things to do. You can spend your days on a lake
cruise. There is 72 square Miles of water with boat tours on the lake running daily. The Mt Washington has evening cruises
with Dinner and Dancing Entertainment. You can fish for the big one. Play on Weirs beach or stroll through town poking into
the interesting shops in Laconia. Also,in June we have motorcycle week. On morotcycle week their are some 50,000 to 75,000
motorcycles in Laconia,NH. The fall foliage is spectacular, framed by blue sky and blue water. In winter there is skiing(downhill)
or cross-country skiing,snowshoeing,ice fishing,and sitting by a warm fire reading. In winter you can also watch ice boats
race or walk among the ice-fishing shacks that appear as small villages. In winter(February) we have an ice fishing contest,and
a weekend of Dog sled racing. This State has lakes,mountians,and the ocean only an hour's drive from most part's

for about 20 years now . We feel that we have some good information to offer you at the webpages listed below. Enjoy your
